Peterson Stoop gives shoes a new soul. The brand was founded by Jelske Peterson and Jarah Stoop. Peterson Stoop has 10 years’ experience in the field of sustainable footwear and is the world’s leading company in footwear re-design. Building on their significant knowledge base, acquired after graduating from the Royal College of Art, working in shoe repair and leather tanneries, Peterson Stoop focuses on upcycling and re-designing sneakers - a type of shoe commonly discarded rather than repaired. After first deconstructing sneakers, the duo re-designs them often using natural materials including cork and leather. It is their mission to make a positive impact on the world, by inspiring fashion companies to design for repair and deconstruction.
